text of obituary:

Ollie O. Unruh

The Lord has taken out of this world our beloved brother, Ollie O. Unruh, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Unruh. He was born in Springfield, S. D., May 2, 1906. After a brief period of illness, developing into low-bark pneumonia and the beginning stages of thyphoid [sic], the Lord called him to his heavenly home Feb. 4th, 7:30 P. M. This being the date on which just 8 years before the Lord took the oldest son of this family out of this world. Ollie was blest with a Christian home, where godly parents taught him to know and love his Saviour, whom he accepted early in his life. He was baptized upon his confession of faith in the Immanuel Mennonite Church of Los Angeles, Cal., April 4th, 1926.

He loved his Saviour and the church, seeking ever to be true to his Lord and ever willing to serve Him. Last summer he was among the first to respond to a call for wholehearted consecration and service of the Lord Christ. In the home he has been the joy and comfort of his parents, ever mindful of their love and care. To his brothers and sisters he was a loving brother, burdened for their spiritual welfare and otherwise.

His testimony and love for the Lord and his cause will be gratefully remembered by his relatives and friends. We will miss him and his kind assistance in the work of the church.

Ollie leaves to mourn his early departure his beloved parents, five brothers, two sisters, grandparents. These with his relatives and friends will old him in loving remembrance and be comforted by the assurance his faith gives us that he is now privileged to see and enjoy the presence of his glorious Saviour and ours. — Contributed.
