Die Beerdigung fand am 6. bei dem Springfield Versammlungshause der Mennoniten statt, in welcher Gemeinde der Verstorbene Glied war. Die Leichenrede über Jes. 3, 10 wurde von A. B. Schelly gehalten.

Thomas. — On June 2, 1902, at Quakertown, Pa., Joel S. Thomas, aged 66 years, 2 months, 6 days. Funeral services held and interment made at the Springfield Mennonite church where the deceased was a member, on June 6th.Funeral services conducted and funeral sermon preached from Isaiah 3: 10 by A. B. Shelly.
