Katherina Senner, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Senner, was born October 12, 1870, in Poland. at the age of two years her father died. Also through a weakness of her eyes and an unsuccessful operation she lost her eyesight in childhood and spent the remainder of her life in darkness.
In 1874 she came to America with her mother.
After the death of her parents, loving relatives at Kingman, Kansas, cared for her until her death. She passed away November 26, 1938, and funeral services were held at the Bethany Mennonite church Monday afternoon, November 28.
She reached the age of 68 years.
She is survived by three brothers, Henry, Jonathan, and Joseph, and one sister Elizabeth.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.J. Neuenschwander and Rev. B. H. Janzen.
