— A large funeral took place at the Alexanderwohl church last week when Mrs. H. J. Schmidt was laid to her final resting place. Among those who came to attend were Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Friesen and son Bernhard Friesen, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lettkeman, all of Rosthern, Sask., Canada. These visited in Newton toady, togethrer with Mr. an Mrs. H. A. Woelk.
