. . .

— Funeral services for B. G. Regier, who passed away unexpectedly at his home at 312 East Second street early last week, were held at the First Mennonite church Friday afternoon. The services in the church were led by Rev. J. E. Entz, who spoke in the German language, and Rev. J. W. Bays of the Baptist church, who conducted the English sermon. Rev. J. B. Epp of Meno, Okla., brother of Mrs. Regier, conducted the services in the home. Interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery. Although Mr. Regier had not been in the best of health for some time, his sudden death was nevertheless a great shock to his many friends and relatives. During the early part of last week he was still active in business matters, and also attended meetings of church committees of which he was a member. On Tuesday afternoon, after having had lunch at noon, death suddenly overtook him at his home as he was preparing to lie down for a short rest. For many years he had been employed as miller at a local mill, but had retired because of ill health. The deceased is survived by his wife, two daughters, Elma and Esther, one son Walter, and one daughter-in-law. Also two sisters and four brothers survive.
