Aged Mennonite Minister Passed Away at Hillsboro.

Rev. Jakob W. Penner, one of the oldest Mennonite ministers in Kansas, died at his home near Hillsboro, Kansas, Monday evening, August 5. born on December 3, 1841, Rev. Penner would have been 94 years old next December. Throughout his l9ong period of service to his church he was faithful to his charge as minster, and became widely known in Mennonite circles during his active years.

Funeral services will be held at the Bruderthal church at Hillsboro at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, August 13. Rev. Penner leaves behind a large number of relatives and friends, among whom are his children, Missionary and Mrs. P. W. Penner of India.
