— The funeral of Mrs. Albert Penner was held last Sunday at the Brudertal church near Hillsboro. Some of those of Newton that attended the funeral were: Mrs. Sarah Voth and son Ed, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Dirks, Hulda and Verna Penner, and Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Jantzen.
