— A number of relatives from Newton attended the funeral held at the Alexanderwohl church at Goessel last Monday afternoon for Mrs. John Pankratz. Mrs. Pankratz passed away at the Bethesda hospital after an unsuccessful attempt of doctors to save her life through an operation. The Alexanderwohl church was filled almost to the last seat by sorrowing friends and relatives. The services were conducted by Rev. C. C.; Wedel, Rev. P. H. Unruh, and Rev. P. P. Buller. interment took place in the church cemetery.
