Nußbaum. — Den 3. Januar 1902 bei Berne, Ind., Jakob Nußbaum im Alter von 65 Jahren und 9 Tagen. Im Jahre 1863 trat er mit Anna Sprunger in den Ehestand und 1866 wanderten sie von der Schweiz nach Amerika aus. Er hinterläßt die betrübte Gattin, 2 Töchter und 9 Enkel. S. F. Sprunger leitete den Leichengottesdienst, unterstützt von Wm. Egle. Text: Eph. 2, 1–10.

Nussbaum. — Jacob Nussbaum died Friday morning, Jan. 3, 1902, one mile south of Berne, Ind., after a long illness. He was born in La Chaux de Fonds, Canton Neuchatel, Switzerland, Dec. 25, 1836, was married in 1863 to Anna Sprunger, and immigrated to this country in 1866 and settled in Adams county, Ind. His age was 65 years and 9 days. He leaves his wife, one brother, John, 2 daughters, Mrs. Jeff Sprunger and Mrs. Jno. J. Amstutz, and 9 grandchildren. Three preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at the Mennonite church, Revs. S. F. Sprunge and Wm. Egle officiating.
