— Chris. A. Neuenschwander, pioneer farmer and business man of Berne, Ind., passed away at his home there on Thursday, March 8, at the age of 85 years. Funeral services were held on the following Sunday at the First Mennonite church, Rev. C. H. Suckau officiating. Mr. Neuenschwander had served as secretary of the Sunday school at this church for 40 years.
