— Passing away at the age of 76 years, Mrs. Helene Matthies died recently at Aberdeen, Idaho, after a lingering illness. Coming to America in her younger years, she shared in many hardships of other Mennonite pioneers. Funeral services were conducted at the Aberdeen Mennonite church by Rev. Edgar Toevs and Rev. P. A. Wedel. One daughter and three sons survive.
