Upland, Calif., Oct. 28. — Many former pupils at the Alta Loma School today mourn the sad death of Mrs. Henry A. Lichti, who before her marriage some eighteen months ago was Miss Sylvia Baumgartner, a teacher at the Alta Loma school for several years. Mrs. Lichti, who is a niece of Mrs. Dan Dettweiler of Alta Loma, with whom she made her home when here, passed away suddenly at the Communty Hospital on Monday. She leaves besides her husband, a three day old babe.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mennonite Church in Upland with Rev. J. C. Mehl and Rev. Lester Hostettler officiating. Burial was at Bellevue, with J. B. Draper Company in charge. — Upland News.
