Leisy. – Am 15. Juni, bei Donnellson, Iowa, Jakob Leisy, im Alter von 61 Jahren und 5 Tagen. Wie wohl schon längere Zeit etwas leidend, kam doch sein Tod unerwartet schnell, was uns Allen eine ernste Mahnung zum Bereitsein ist. Der schnelle Tod bewirkte, daß die Beerdigung Tags vor der bestellten Leichenfeier stattfinden mußte. Zahlreiche Theilnahme wurde bezeugt. Leichentext war Luc. 21, 18. 19., worüber Chr. Schowalter predigte.
