text of obituary:

Edward Krehbiel.

Edward Krehbiel son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob W. Krehbiel was born at Moundridge, Kansas, September 5, 1915 and died November 16, 1928; aged 13 years, 2 months and 11 days.

His illness was of short duration, but he suffered greatly the last few days of his life. He was taken to the Halstead Hospital where he was operated upon as the only hope for possible recovery. He suffered from intestinal Flu and Apperitnitis which disease brought his speedy end.

His parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 Grandfather, 1 Grandmother and many other relatives and friends remain as the bereaved to mourn his early departure.

Two sisters and 4 brothers have gone before him into the Great Beyond. The Almighty found it well also to call young Edward home to the better land.

Funeral Services were held in the Eden Church Sunday afternoon November 18th. Words of comfort were spoken by the Rev. Philip A. Wedel on the Scripture passage found in Jon 124:2, "In my Fathers House Are Many Mansions." The Church Quartette rendered two selections and also the Pleasant Ridge School gave a farewell song where Edward had been an attendant.
