Emilie Rupp, Gattin von Jakob Kohfeld, geb. 1871, starb am 12. April 1945 zu Reedley, Calif. Sie kam als junges Mädchen von drüben und wohnte dann in Kansas bis sie nach California zogen.

— Funeral services for Mrs. Emilie Kohfeld, for 33 years a resident at Reedley, Calif., were held at the First Mennonite church there Monday afternoon, April 16. Rev. P. K. Regier officiated. She was a daughter of the well known Daniel Rupp, who came to America from Austria in 1882 and settled at Halstead, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Kohfeld had yet looked forward to celebrating their golden wedding in September of this year.
