Kaufmann. – Am 23. Dez. 1887 in Hoffnungsfeld, McPherson Co., Ks., P. Kaufmann, im Alter von etwa 64 Jahren. Er hinterließ eine trauernde Wittwe (zweite Ehegattin) mit 13 Kindern und eilte seinen ihm vorausgegangenen 6 Kindern nach. Die Beerdigung fand unter zahlreicher Betheiligung am 25. Statt, bei welcher Gelegenheit Aelt. Jacob Stucky über Offb. 7, 13 - 17 sprach.
