Herman H. Koehn

Herman H. Koehn, son of Heinrich T. and Caroline (Schmidt) Koehn, was born near Taloga, Oklahoma, on August 25, 1915. Here on October 7, 1934, he was baptized upon the confession of his faith by Rev. H. U. Schmidt and received into the Kidron Mennonite Chruch [sic].

March 17, 1940, he married Elizabeth Unruh, daughter of Corn. B. Unruh of Enid, Oklahoma. Since then they made their home on a farm Northwest of Enid.

on January 3 he became ill with pleurisy pains which developed into pneumonia. Improvement was slow, but on January 22 he was able to leave the hospital. His improvement was now more rapid, and full recovery seemed imminent. But on January 27 at 3:15 o'clock A.M. a blood clot caused his sudden death. He reached the age of 26 years 5 months and 2 days.]

He leaves to mourn his early departure his wife, his parents, 3 brothers, 7 sisters, and a host of other relatives and friendd.

The Psalmist says: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."
