MRS J. K. GRABER LAID TO REST AT PRETTY PRAIRIE CHURCH, SUNDAY, APRIL 20

Pretty Prairie, Kans. — Mrs. Mary Graber, wife of J. K. Graber of this community, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Hutchinson, Thursday, April 17, after a long illness.

Widely known as one of the early Mennonite settlers in this community, where she and her husband established a home out on the prairie nine miles east of Pretty Prairie in the early eighties, she was one of the first members of the Mennonite church organized here. She and her husband later moved near the town of Pretty Prairie.

She reached the age of 76 years. Funeral services were held at the Mennonite church, Sunday, April 20, conducted by rev. P. P. Tschetter.

Besides her husband, the following children survive: Mrs. Joe J. Kaufman, Pretty Prairie; Mrs. B. J. Stucky, Hutchinson; Mrs. Paul J. Voran, Mrs. Edw. Krehbiel, Mrs. Arthur Waltner, all of Pretty Prairie; Jonas Graber, Washington, D. C.; Joe M. and Walter, Pretty Prairie, and Arthur of Wichita.
