FREEMAN, S. DAK.

July 19, 1928

. . .

— We were shocked to hear Saturday that Emil Graber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jno. Graber, died at the Yankton hospital. Only a short time ago we saw his smiling face in Freeman and now he is not with us anymore. He was working in the C. R. Flikinger garage in Freeman. About two weeks ago he was taken sick at the Albert Lehman place where he was boarding and wa brought home to his parents. His condition was rather discouraging from the start, suffering from a case of pneumonia and it was found he had pus in his lungs. To do the very best for him he was taken to the Yankton hospital where he died. The funeral was held Monday forenoon at the north church, Rev. Waltner and Rev. Schrag speaking. Emil was only a young man of 27 years, good natured and a kind disposition, liked and loved by all. He was not afraid to leave this old world when the time came to depart. Our deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones. Several close relatives came rom Kansas for the funeral.
