. . .

— An accident at the Interurban crossing east of Burrton — the same crossing at which Mr. and Mrs. Warkentin of Buhler were killed several years ago — claimed another victim last Thursday when Mrs. John Dalke of Inman died at the Halstead hospital from injuries received there. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Warkentin of Inman driving their car and accompanied by Mrs. Mary Kornelson and Mr. and Mrs. John Dalke, were at Burrton Sunday, June 10, to visit with relatives. On the return trip, according to the report, the blinding sun prevented Mr. Warkentin from seeing an approaching Interurban car as they reached the crossing, and their car was badly damaged in the resulting collision. It was thought that none of the occupants of the car was seriously injured, although it was considered best to take Mrs. Dalke to Halstead for examination. She died at the hospital there last Thursday. Funeral services which were held at the Mennonite church at Inman last Sunday were attended by a large crowd of friends and relatives.
