. . .

— Dr. and Mrs. A. K. Ratzlaff of Wichita have moved to Hillsboro, where Dr. Ratzlaff has become an associate of Dr. Kalser. Mrs. Ratzlaffs parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abr. Balzer, at Hillsboro, were especially happy to have their children near them, but their joy was of but short duration since Mr. Balzer passed away unexpectedly last Friday morning. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Brudertal church, conducted by Rev. P. H. Richert in the German language and Rev. Arnold Funk in the English language. Interment was made in the church near the cemetery. Mr. Balzer was over 70 years of age and had lived in the Brudertal community during the greater part of his life.
