&bull; Word has been received here that Mrs. Clinton Schmidt, 26, formerly of the Goessel community, died in a Kansas City, Kan. hospital Tuesday morning of injuries received in a traffic accident there last Saturday afternoon. The Schmidt family resided in Kansas City, and she was returning home from her work in a doctor's office when her car was struck by another vehicle at an intersection. She was the former Elnora Schmidt. Surviving are her husband, two children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Schmidt of Route 2, Newton, and a sister, Mrs. Emory (Marlene) Goertz of Texas. A memorial service will be held Thursday at the Kansas City Mennonite Church, and the body will be returned here for final services at 2 p.m. Friday in the Tabor Mennonite Church.
