— Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Peters, 86, a resident here for 72 years, were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Mennonite church, Rev. D. J. Unruh and Rev. J. E. Entz officiating. She passed away Sunday evening at the home on South Pine street. Mrs. Peters was a native of Germany, and was married here to Abram Peters on May 17, 1885. He died in 1926. Surviving are three daughters. Mrs. J. I. Schroeder, Martha Peters, and Mrs. Herman Janzen, all of Newton, 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
