Philip J. Launhart

Philip J. Launhart, 74, of 219 SW 5th died Saturday at Bethel Deaconess Hospital, where he had been a patient for three weeks.

A self-employed sign painter, he was born Feb. 19, 1891 in Poland and had lived in this community for 61 years. His parents were John P. and Mary Launhart.

Mr. Launhart was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his widow, the former Grace Brady; one brother, William of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Mary Schmidt of Hutchinson, and a half brother, Edward Horn of Hanston.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Jackson will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Draper's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
