Martha Schultz Koehn, 95, of Goessel, formerly of Wheatland Homes, North Newton, died July 3 at Bethesda Home, Goessel. She was the mother of two sons, Earl Koehn and Galen Koehn, both of North Newton; and one daughter, Leona Clithero, Newton. Funeral services are being held July 7 at Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock, with Perry Beachy and Eleanor Beachy officiating. Burial is in the Mennonite Memorial Church Cemetery, Pawnee Rock. She was a member of the Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock. She moved to Goessel in 1987. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Lawrence Koehn, preceded her in death in 1968.

Martha Schultz Koehn
Martha Schultz Koehn, 95, of Goessel, formerly of Wheatland Homes, North Newton, a homemaker, died Monday (July 3, 1988) at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
Services will be at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock, with the Revs. Perry Beachy and Eleanor Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the Mennonite Memorial Church Cemetery, Pawnee Rock.
She was born Jan. 13, 1893, in Pawnee Rock, the daughter of Christian and Helena (Rudiger) Schultz. On May 28, 1913, she married Lawrence Koehn in Pawnee Rock. He died Jan. 22, 1968. She was a member of Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock, and had come to Pawnee Rock from North Newton in 1980. In 1987, she moved to Goessel. She had been a resident of Pawnee Rock most of her life.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Koehn and Galen Koehn, both of North Newton; one daughter, Leona Clithero, Newton; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call this evening and all day Wednesday at Petersen's Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Mennonite Missions Workers Society of Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock.
