Mrs. Henrietta Kasitz
Mrs. Henrietta Kasitz passed away at 12:05 this morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Kater, who resides five miles southeast of Newton. Mrs. Kasitz was 71 years old and had been a resident of Kansas for 33 years and of Harvey County for three years.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Emanuel Evangelical church the Rev. Paul Kasper officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Henrietta Haag was born February 18, 1865 in Erkrath, Germany a daughter of Willhelm and Agnes (Lenden) Haag. She grew to womanhood in the city of her birth and on May 29, 1888 she was married there to Frank Kasitz, who passed away some time ago. Children born to this union are: Mrs. Frank J. Kater of Newton; Jacob A. Kasitz, San Diego, Calif., William F. Kasitz of this city, Frank of Hot Springs, S. D., August of Avon, S. D.; Robert of this city, Walter of La Mesa, Calif., and Arthur G., of San Diego.
The body was taken to the Sprinker Mortuary where she will remain until Thursday morning at which time she will be taken to the home to await the funeral services of the afternoon.
