Hiestand. – Am 5. Januar 1896 nahe Zionsville, Pa., Abraham Hiestand im Alter von 70 Jahren, 11 Monaten und 13 Tagen. Die Beerdigung fand statt am 11. Januar auf dem Ober Milford Mennoniten Gottesacker. Leichenreden wurden gehalten von Prediger Eli Keller und A. S. Shelly, letzterer über 2. Kor. 5, 1.
