— Death came last Thursday evening to Mrs. Katherine Funk, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ferdinand Voth at 418 West Seventh Street, following a serious heart attack. She came to Newton three years ago from Canada, which had been her home for many years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, conducted at the home by Rev. C. E. Krehbiel, and at the First Mennonite church by Rev. J. E. Entz, Dr. A. Warkentin, Rev. C. E. Krehbiel and Rev. J. J. Voth. Three children survive, Dr. Henry Funk of Herbert, Sask.; Mrs. Marie Johnson of Corpus Christi, Tex.; and Mrs. Ferd. Voth of Newton.
