Abraham Ratzlaff of Buhler, kansas, Rev. A. J. Dyck of Inman, Kansas, and Rev. J. J. Plenert of Hutchinson, Kansas, officiating. Bro. Ratzlaff and Dyck spoke in German and Bro. Plenert in English. The interment was made at the Hoffnungsau cemetery where Rev. C. H. Voth, Inman, Kansas, made a few remarks in German and prayed. Appropriate music was rendered at both places by singers of the Hutchinson Mennonite Church.

Mrs. Elizabeth [sic Elisabeth] Froese.

Mrs. Elisabeth Froese daughter of M. and Mrs. Cornelius Voth was born December 14, 1881 in McPherson County, Kansas, where she spent her youth with the parents.

In the early years of her life she accepted Christ as her personal savior and was united with the Mennonite Church of which she remained a faithful member to the end.

On the third day of September 1903 she was united marriage with Mr. Jacob K. Froese. this union was blessed with seven children, three sons and four daughters.

Her health had been failing for several years, so it became necessary for her to undergo an operation at the Grace hospital, Hutchinson, Kansas. Here on the morning of July the 24th, 1928, she was called to her heavenly home.

"Where no slightest touch of pain,
Nor sorrow's least annoy,
Can violate her rest,
Or stain her purity of joy."
"Where all her griefs are passed,
Where all her sorrows end,
She gained a peaceful rest at last
With Jesus Christ our friend."

Those deeply berieved [sic] by hear early departure are her husband and family, her aged mother, six sisters and two brothers, a sorrowing circle of relatives and a host of friends who morn [sic] her passing most sincerely. For to know her was to love her. She was of a cheerful and contented nature, always ready to give her service willingly, wherever needed. She reached the age of 46 years, 7 months and 9 days.
