Life Resident Of Kidron, O. Died

Kidron, Ohio. — Peter J. Amstutz, 80, retired farmer and lifelong resident of this community, died at the Dunlap hospital in Orrville May 4, three hours after suffering a heart attack at his home here.

Funeral services were held May 6 at the Kidron Mennonite church, of which he was a life-time member, in charge of Rueben Hofstetter, Isaac Zuercher and Allen Bixler.

Surviving in the immediate family are his wife Barbara; three sons, Paul and Ira of Route 2 Orrville, and Dr. H. Clair of Goshen, Ind.; five daughters, Mrs. Grover C. Gerber, Mrs. Levi Nussbaum, and Mrs. Ivan Zuercher of Route 2, Orrville, Mrs. Amos J. Nussbaum and Mrs. George C. Amstutz of Route 1, Dalton; 38 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
