— Mrs. Anna Regier, 70, wife of Henry R. Regier and a member of the First Mennonite Church here, died at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita Monday afternoon. She entered the Bethel Deaconess Hospital on March 11 for surgery and had been transferred to the Wichita hospital last Sunday. Funeral services will be held at the First church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Arnold Epp and Rev. H. J. Dyck officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Regier moved to Newton three years ago from Elbing. Surviving in addition to Mr. Regier are two sons, Rev. Arnold Regier, chaplain of Bethel Deaconess Hospital, and William J. Regier of Elbing; two brothers, Ben C. Regier of Newton and Gus Regier of Marthasville, Mo.; three sisters, Mary and Helen Regier of Newton and Mrs. Henry J. Wiebe of Whitewater; and five grandchildren.
