RETIRED FARMER DIED AT PAWNEE ROCK
Pawnee Rock, Kan. — Funeral services for Jacob A. Dirks, 79-year-old retired farmer of this community, were held at the Bergtal Mennonite church near here Sunday, Oct. 30, Rev. Victor Sawatzky in charge.
Mr. Dirks died at St. Rose hospital on Oct. 27 after being ill one week. He leaves his wife, Carrie, eight children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
