KELLY (KJ) SCHROEDER

Kelly (KJ) Schroeder, 65, of Tempe, AZ, died on January 26, 2015.

Kelly was born in Goessel and raised in Newton. He graduated from Newton High School and attended Bethel College, where he received a BS is Psychology. After doing some traveling and briefly living in Oregon, then Illinois, Kelly settled his family in Arizona. He continued his education at Arizona State University and earned an MA in Anthropology. Kelly worked for nearly 30 years as an archaeologist, and became well known and respected in his field.

Kelly is survived by his children Jennifer & Andrew, and his sisters Pamela & Sheryl.

He is preceded in death by his parents Martha (Frey) & Richmond Schroeder of Newton.

Cremation services took place in Phoenix, AZ, and a Celebration of Life will take place in Phoenix, AZ, at the Pioneer & Military Memorial Park on February 28.
