— Due to her wide circle of friends and relatives in this and other communities, funeral services for Mrs. Anna (Smith) King, widow of Samuel B. King of Hesston were largely attended on Sunday afternoon at the Pennsylvania church near Zimmerdale. Rev. Earl Buckwalter and Rev. O. O. Hershberger officiated. Mrs. King, who was 86 years of age, died at the Bethel Deaconess hospital on Nov. 25 after being a patient there since Aug. 5, when she fell and broke her hip. She had lived in the Hesston community since 1896, in recent years making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Anna Risser. There are six other surviving children, including a son, Samuel, who is a missionary at Dhamtari, India. One sister, Mrs. J. P. Oyer of St. Johns, Mich., and one brother, Chris Smith of Eureka, Ill. , also survive.
