— "Mr. and Mrs. Alpha Smucker and children, John Smucker, also Mr. and Mrs. John Esh form Belleville attended the funeral of Ira Yoder at Clarence Center, N. Y., on Sunday March 19. Ira was a son of the late Levi B. and Lizzie Yoder, formerely [sic] of Belleville. He was killed when an automobile driver drove through a stop sign. A wife and four children are left to mourn the passing of a father only 57 years of age. He was a deacon in their church," says a report in the March 23 issue of the Belleville (Pa.) Times.
