— "Mr. and Mrs. Alpha Smucker and children, John Smucker, also Mr. and Mrs. John Esh from Belleville attended the funeral of Ira Yoder at Clarence Center, N. Y., on Sunday March 19. Ira was a son of the late Levi B. and Lizzie Yoder, formerely [sic] of Belleville. He was killed when an automobile driver drove through a stop sign. A wife and four children are left to mourn the passing of a father only 57 years of age. He was a deacon in their church," says a report in the March 23 issue of the Belleville (Pa.) Times.

AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT FATAL TO IRA L. YODER AT CLARENCE, NEW YORK

Clarence, N. Y. — A large funeral was held here Sunday, march 19, when Ira L. Yoder, 57, was laid to his final earthly resting place. Mr. Yoder was fatally injured in an accident when another automobile hit his car at an intersection on Greiner road.

Mr. Yoder was a deacon in the local Mennonite church.

Among those who came from a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Mast, Belleville, Pa.; Mrs. Samuel Yoder, Surrey, N. D.; Bishops C. F. Coffman and Moses Roth of Ontario, Canada, and Bishop Enos Hartzler of Marshallville, Ohio.
