Mrs. William P. Wiens

Mrs. William P. Wiens was born near Henderson, Nebraska, December 12, 1892, the oldest daughter of Cornelius C. and Maria (Friesen) Dick. She attended the public schools at Henderson and was graduated from Bethel Academy in 1912. After teaching two years at Henderson, her family moved to Newton, in 1914. The next year and several succeeding summers, she again attended Bethel College. She taught in Kansas for six years. Active in the Parent-Teacher association of the McKinley school where she served as secretary the past year, she never lost her interest in school work.
