Schmidt. - Am 14. January in der Nähe von Sheldon, Harvey Co., Kan., Jakob A. Schmidt, im Alter von 59 Jahren an Magenkrankheit. Der Verstorbene hat mehr als 30 Jahre treulich als Psalter (Vorsinger) gedient. Die Leichenreden wurden von And. Harms, Peter Claassen und Jakob Toews von Newton gehalten.
