● Edwin J. Goering, father of Mrs. Marlow Unruh of Hesston and brother of Art Goering of Newton, died Jan. 24 at Pretty Prairie at the age of 76. He was a retired farmer. Services were held Jan. 27 at the First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie with Richard Tschetter officiating. He leaves a son, two daughters, five brothers and four sister.
