Retired Farmer Of Pretty Prairie Died

Pretty Prairie, Kans. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church Jan. 14 for Jacob J. Graber, 75, well-known retired farmer of this community. He died here on Jan. 11. The services were in charge of Rev. H. G. Nyce, assisted by Rev. Victor Graber and Rev. P. P. Tschetter.

A native of Freeman, S. D., he had lived here since the age of six. He farmed southeast of Pretty Prairie until his retirement six years ago, and was active as song leader, member of the board, and Sunday school superintendent in the local church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Frances Goering, seven children and their families, and seven brothers and sisters.
