PIONEER SETTLER OF 1874 DIES AT DODGE CITY, KANSAS

Montezuma, Kan. — Henry P. Koehn, who came to the United States from Poland with his parents in 1874, died at the Trinity Hospital in Dodge City at the age of 89.

Mr. Koehn lived in Kiowa County, Kan. from 1908 to 1954, when he entered the Mennonite Home here. In May 1891 he was married to Lena Wedel, who survives with their five sons and five daughters.

Funeral services were to be held Tuesday forenoon, Dec.24, at the Bethel Mennonite Church near Greensburg, with Ministers Lincoln Jantz and Harvey Yost officiating.
