— Funeral service services were held at the First Mennonite Church Monday afternoon for Mrs. Susie H. Janzen, 67, who lived in Newton the past 11 years. Rev. Arnold Epp and Rev. Leo Miller of Goessel officiated. Mrs. Janzen, widow of Henry P. Janzen, died Friday afternoon at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. She was a native of the Goessel community and a member of the Goessel Mennonite Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Brunner of Emporia; one son, Ernest William, of the home; three stepchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lena Goertz, and a brother, Dietrich D. Reimer, both of Newton; as well as a number of half-brothers and half-sisters.
