LOCKJAW FATAL TO 8-YR.-OLD BOY

Belleville, Pa. — An eight-year-old Amish boy, Rufas Peachey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel b. Peachey, died recently in Lewistown hospital of lockjaw.

The lad had run a splinter in his leg while sliding down a board, and the wound apparently was healing when he complained of difficulty in opening his mouth. Death came two days later.

The grandparents are Rufas A. Peacheys, Sr. and Jacob J. Peacheys.
