Belleville, Pa. — An eight-year-old Amish boy, Rufas [sic Rufus] Peachey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel b. Peachey, died recently in Lewistown hospital of lockjaw.
The lad had run a splinter in his leg while sliding down a board, and the wound apparently was healing when he complained of difficulty in opening his mouth. Death came two days later.
The grandparents are Rufas [sic Rufus] A. Peacheys, Sr. and Jacob J. Peacheys.
