Miss Regier was born in Russia on Dec. 19, 1874 and came to the United States the following year with her parents, Jacob and Katrina Regier. She had lived in Buhler since 1927.

She was a member of the Hebron Mennonite Church, where the funeral services were conducted March 22 by Rev. O'Ray Graber and Rev. J. K. Siemens.

Pioneer Immigrant of 1875 Dies At Buhler

Buhler, Kan. — The ranks of the few remaining pioneers to come here from South Russia in the 1870s was again reduced with the passing of Sarah Regier, 87, on March 19 at the Sunshine Mission Home.

Miss Regier was born in Russia on Dec. 19, 1874 and came to the United States the following year with her parents, Jacob and Katrina Regier. She had lived in Buhler since 1927.

She was a member of the Hebron Mennonite Church, where the funeral services were conducted March 22 by Rev. O'Ray Graber and Rev. J. K. Siemens.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Cornelius Franz, and a brother, John R. Regier, both of Buhler.
