Goshen, Ind. &#8212; Funeral services for John F. Slabaugh, 86, retired school teacher, were held at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home here April 4, with Rev. John Mosemann officiating.

Mr. Slabaugh, a member of the Goshen College Mennonite Church, died at the hospital here April 1. A native of the Kokomo community, he had taught in public schools and also at Goshen College. Mrs. Slabaugh, the former Ella A. Eash, died Jan. 12 of this year.

He is survived by a son, Paul, of Route 4, Goshen; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Dr. J. S. Slabaugh of Nappanee, Rev. Niles Slabaugh of Kokomo, and Albert Slabaugh of Alto, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. Simon Berkey of Amboy, Ind.

Retired Teacher Dies at Age 86

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for John F. Slabaugh, 86, retired school teacher, were held at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home here April 4, with Rev. John Mosemann officiating.

Mr. Slabaugh, a member of the Goshen College Mennonite Church, died at the hospital here April 1. A native of the Kokomo community, he had taught in public schools and also at Goshen College. Mrs. Slabaugh, the former Ella A. Eash, died Jan. 12 of this year.

He is survived by a son, Paul, of Route 4, Goshen; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Dr. J. S. Slabaugh of Nappanee, Rev. Niles Slabaugh of Kokomo, and Albert Slabaugh of Alto, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. Simon Berkey of Amboy, Ind.
