Theresa Wiebe Lehrman was born Aug. 26, 1892 to Henry J. and Susanna Schmidt Wiebe on a farm near Lehigh, Kan. Her parents had come to this country from Russia as children in 1874. Later the family moved to a farm in the Peabody area, where she finished her grade school education. After that she attended the Preparatory School in Hillsboro and then attended Bethel College. She taught rural school in Kansas for three years.

Newton and Vicinity

Mr. and Mrs. A. James Rinner, Jeanette and Amy were called to Aberdeen, Idaho last week due to the death of Mrs. Rinner's mother, Mrs. Henry H. (Theresa) Lehrman, which occurred there on Friday. Mrs. Lehrman, who was 79, had been ill for several years. Funeral services were to be held Tuesday at the First Mennonite Church of Aberdeen, with Rev. Aaron Epp in charge. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Rinner include Mr. Lehrman, of Aberdeen; another daughter, Mrs. Elva Brucks of Aberdeen; a son, Dr. Chalres Lehrman of Buhl, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. P. I. Schroeder of Newton and Mrs. John A. Ewert of Hillsboro; and three brothers, Henry and Jake Wiebe of Newton and Herbert Wiebe of Hillsboro.

Theresa Wiebe Lehrman was born Aug. 26, 1892 to Henry J. and Susanna Schmidt Wiebe on a farm near Lehigh, Kan. Her parents had come to this country from Russia as children in 1874.
