Mr. Entz, who was the father of Rev. J. E. Entz, pastor of the First Mennonite Church of Newton, was nearly eighty-one years old, he having been born November 27, 1843, in West Prussia. He lived at his farm east of here since 1883, having come to Newton the year previous.

— Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Newton for Mr. Abraham Entz, who passed away last Wednesday afternoon at his home four iles [sic] east of this city. Mr. Entz suffered a stroke of paralysis about ten days ago. A very large number of people attended these last rites.

Mr. Entz, who was the father of Rev. J. E. Entz, pastor of the First Mennonite Church of Newton, was nearly eighty-one years old, he having been born November 27, 1843, in West Prussia. He lived at his farm east of here since 1883, having come to Newton the year previous.
