Mr. Schmidt had been sick all winter and for some time already there had been no hope for his recovery. the funeral services are being held at two o'clock this afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church. Among close relatives and members of his family surviving are: His wife; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Regier, and Matilda, at home; and two brothers and two sisters.

— H. U. Schmidt, 61, of Goessel died there last Sunday morning at 7:15 o'clock. Mr. Schmidt had been sick all winter and for some time already there had been no hope for his recovery. the funeral services are being held at two o'clock this afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church. Among close relatives and members of his family surviving are: His wife; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Regier, and Matilda, at home; and two brothers and two sisters.
