Funeral services for Rev. H. D. Penner of Geary, Okla., who passed away at the Bethel Hospital early last Thursday morning, were held at the First Mennonite church at Hillsboro at two o'clock Saturday afternoon.

The ministers who were in charge are Rev. J. D. Jantzen, pastor of the Hillsboro church, Rev. C. C. Wedel of Goessel, and Rev. J. W. Kliewer of the Bethel College congregation. Interment was made in the Hillsboro cemetery near Hillsboro.

The Rev. Penner reached the age of 71 years, but was still active until his last fatal illness, serving as pastor of the Geary Mennonite church at Geary, Okla. During his long period of activity he served either as pastor or teacher at Bethel College, Hillsboro Preparatory school, Bethel Deaconness Hospital, and the Mennonite churches at Beatrice, Nebr., and Geary, Okla.

Funeral Services For Rev. Penner Held at Hillsboro.

Funeral services for Rev. H. D. Penner of Geary, Okla., who passed away at the Bethel Hospital early last Thursday morning, were held at the First Mennonite church at Hillsboro at two o'clock Saturday afternoon.
